There are few more iconic bands than GWAR, everyone’s favorite pus-shooting aliens, so logically, it follows that they should have a card game. Right? Thanks for the makers of GWAR vs Time, that thought will soon be a reality; the Richmond freaks launched a Kickstarter today crowdfunding the new deck-building card game.
According to game creator Matthew Grau, who has also worked with licenses like Star Wars, Star Trek, Dungeons & Dragons and Dune, GWAR vs Time—available tentatively August 2020—is a 3-5 player game that focuses on characters, items and locations from the band’s storied history. According to Grau, the game will be accessible to both casual and experienced players.
