Black metal/crust practitioners Wormwitch will release their second full-length and follow-up to 2017’s Strike Mortal Soil in April with Heaven That Dwells Within. The ten-track album leads with “Disciple of the Serpent Star,” which you can stream below, right now, for your first taste of the album. On “Disciple,” Wormwitch continue to lean into their black metal influences, finding a riff-based sound that has a strong atmosphere while remaining in the listener’s face.
“Disciple of the Serpent Star” comes with an accompanying music video that contains live shots while also telling the story of a group of people conducting a ritual and preparing for battle. The trio will continue the search for the Heaven That Dwells Within on April 5, out on Prosthetic.
