If you like your thrash relentless and fast as hell, Sahon have what you seek. The South Korean thrashers have been tearing it up for nearly two decades in their hometown of Seoul, releasing six albums since 2002.
There’s no rethrash here either. On their new album Chanting for the Fallen, Sahon go straight for the throat by sprinkling in small hints of black and death metal without compromising the thrashy base to their sound. Take a listen to new song “Survive”—Sahon tear through jagged riffs and sharp barks from bassist/vocalist Yong Ho Lee.
