US death metal monstrosity Engulf—the work of one Hal Microutsicos who also handles guitar in Blasphemous and Chapel of Ruin—have spit out a new song, “Misshapen Abomination.” Technical and dissonant without being overwhelming and topped off with filthy vocals, “Misshapen Abomination” sets the tone for the entire new EP, Gold and Rust, which will be released on July 13 (Friday the 13th, if you’re counting).
