Austin-based doomsayers Destroyer of Light delivered one of 2017’s more memorable doom releases with Chamber of Horrors, but it appears the work never stops for them. Destroyer of Light will release new EP Hopeless, with the first track streaming exclusively below.
“‘Nyx’ is a hymn of devotion to the Goddess of Midnight,” guitarist Keegan Kjeldsen says. “The lyrics are about being gradually submerged in darkness, and not feeling like a part of the real world anymore. But if you accept that experience, you transcend it by the same token.”
