One year ago, almost to the day, we premiered the debut EP from Swiss epic heavy metal quartet Megaton Sword. Niralet, also the name of the fictional world whence their stories and lyrics came, we called “addictive heavy metal perfection.” Songs like “Pristine War” and “For Glory” stand as undeniable modern classics. But, more importantly, at the end of that premiere last November, the leather-clad Swiss rockers promised us “a full album next year.”
Now here we are, a year later and the Megaton Swordsmen remain true to their word. It is time. Here comes the 8-banger full-length album, Blood Hails Steel – Steel Hails Fire.
“Hail to thee, Listener,” writes the band. “After our first mini-epic Niralet last year, we’re proud to present to ye, our full-length debut titled Blood Hails Steel – Steel Hails Fire. As the name suggests, true as steel Heavy Metal awaits you, however, the songs are as diverse as the mighty Giver carrying its beer-infused golden water through the lands of Niralet, oftentimes raging, sometimes tranquilly flowing. Topped off with Uzzy Unchained chanting Niraletian-lores, an Epic Metal feast is served! We hope to see you all on our quest to take over the world with True Heavy Metal.”
