Unsung California thrash heroes Psychosomatic might be an unfamiliar name to those of you who haven’t worn out your 57th-generation dub of No Life Til Leather or memorized all of Paul Baloff’s in-between song banter by heart. But for anyone who lives and dies with west coast thrash, these Sacramento vets fronted by vocalist, bassist and founder Jeff Salgado have been thrashing the fuck out of listeners with more regularity over the past decade. Now The Invisible Prison, the label debut for Nefarious Industries scheduled for August 28, will be Psychosomatic’s third LP in a decade. And to help celebrate that era of productivity, we’ve got the first taste of The Invisible Prison via a lyric video for “We Don’t Trust You.”
