Chicago’s Of Wolves pride themselves on being able to dabble in various extreme music styles without committing to one or sacrificing quality. It’s something we’ve heard in the past from Of Wolves, who dwell in crust, punk and hardcore, plus stoner, doom and sludge metal. On “Clear Cutting,” Of Wolves wade through thick, sludgy riffs with screamed vocals attacking the process of deforestation. The video itself is comprised of deforestation footage, filtered through a VHS-style effect.
“Clear Cutting” is part of a longer song, which features two other parts; Cimmerian Shade will release those in the near future along with more information regarding Of Wolves’ upcoming album release.
