Weed Demon worship at the altars of Black Sabbath, Sleep and marijuana. There’s nothing wrong with that, nor with Weed Demon’s ability to craft lumbering stoner metal riffs that are present on last year’s Astrological Passages. They’ve made a video for “Sigil of the Black Moon,” the third song on the album.
Says the band, “We started working on the video for ‘Sigil’ in August of last year. A handful of setbacks and numerous bowl packs later, we finally got around to wrapping everything up. Seeing the final product was like a huge collective exhale for us. It’s no easy task to put together an almost 11 minute video. A huge thanks to Josh Richter for helping to keep the project moving forward. We are humbled and honored that Decibel was kind enough to handle the premier. Keep it heavy. Keep it hazy.”
