Pig Destroyer Release “Army of Cops” Music Video

Grind stalwarts Pig Destroyer have finally released the first song from their long-awaited Head Cage full-length, their first new music since 2013. “Army of Cops” showcases the addition of John Jarvis (Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Scour) on bass, the band adding healthy amounts of groove and noise to their trademark grinding insanity.

Vocalist J.R. Hayes gets an assist from Richard Johnson (Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Drugs of Faith, Enemy Soil), who provides guest vocals toward the end of the song.

“Hot and sweaty metal dudes rockin’ it out in a stuffy loading dock on a 102 degree day,” guitarist Scott Hull jokes. “Dave Brodsky tried to push us to do a video more metal than Judas Priest’s ‘Hot Rockin’, thankfully he let us keep our shirts on.”

Head Cage is out September 7 on Relapse.
