Converge, Cave In, Old Man Gloom and More to Play Caleb Scofield Memorial Show

The extreme music community suffered an immense loss on March 28 when Cave In/Old Man Gloom bassist Caleb Scofield died in a tragic car accident. Since then, there’s been an incredible outpouring of support from fans and friends of Scofield. The latest comes from Boston, where a special show featuring ConvergeCave InOld Man Gloom, Young Widows and The Cancer Conspiracy will perform in Scofield’s memory.

“Every band is playing for free and Royale is covering all show costs so 100% of the gross from the door is going directly to Caleb’s family,” Converge bassist Nate Newton said on Facebook. “If you want to do something to help then this is your chance.”

You heard the man–this will sell out, so get your tickets now before you can’t. Scofield left behind a wife and two children; if you can’t attend the show, but would like to donate to his family who undoubtedly have many expenses to cover, you can do so here.
