California deathcore outfit So This Is Suffering say they want to leave their mark on extreme music. They’re giving it their best on the first single, “Dreameater,” from their Unique Leader Records debut, Palace Of The Pessimist.
Chunky breakdowns merge with melodic leads and a crushing rhythm section on the single. Vocalist Rudy Flores matches the song’s low end with an equally brutal vocal performance.
The accompanying video features the band performing the new song as well as a fire dancer to heat things up.
“We’re excited to be working with one of the top leading labels in extreme music,” the band says. “It’s been a long journey and we want to thank our fans, friends and family for their endless support along the way, we thank you. This album is everything we all wanted, bone crushing, in your face, obese breakdowns, with some finger licking riffs and a bit of melodies for the soft listening. Can’t wait for you all to hear, it’s an exciting time for us and the future of So This Is Suffering!”
Palace Of The Pessimist will hit the streets through Unique Leader on February 24. Preorders for the record are coming soon.
