This sludgy, grungy new number from Sunburster, titled “Roach,” will be out on their forthcoming record, Trudging to Extinction, May 5 via Knife Hits, but you can hear it with Decibel now.
“It’s pretty much just about watching everyone around you and who’s been around you your whole life start to physically and mentally deteriorate and live long enough to become the villain, says vocalist Mike Murro. “All the high and mighty gatekeeping egos who made everyone miserable struggling to stay relevant.”
In addition to a number of original songs, the album will also include a Melvins cover and Nine Inch Nails cover. No surprise considering Sunburster channel a lot of old-school grunge goodness with this track.
