After a bit of teasing on a social media for the past few weeks, long dormant Northwest metallic hardcore/math rock legends Botch have released their first new song since 2002’s An Anthology of Dead Ends EP. Titled “One Twenty Two,” the two-minute banger contains much of the angular-yet-melodic riffing that made the band underground legends via classics like American Nervoso and We Are the Romans.
Though no album or live show announcements have been made, Sargent House (who recently announced planned reissues of the band’s back catalog) suggested that more Botch-related announcements are on the way. Stay tuned.
