
Now YOU can own a piece of death metal history! Former Carcass drummer Ken Owen is auctioning off his drum kit which he used on, among other recordings, the band’s Decibel Hall of Fame-inducted landmarks, 1991’s Necroticism – Descanting the Insalubrious and 1993’s melodic death metal game-changer Heartwork.
Included with this classic drum kit is a framed certificate of authenticity signed by Owen, a framed photo of Owen signing the certificate, a framed photo of Ken behind the drum kit, and a framed Carcass T-shirt worn by Ken in the photos.
The legendary drummer plans to used the funds raised by the auction to purchase a new computer to enable him to carry on creating music. The auction ends this Sunday, October 24, so get your bidding fingers ready. As of this morning (October 19) the bidding was at £4,000, or approximately $5,500 USD.
