Listen: Dropdead Release “Arms Race” 7-inch Benefiting United We Dream

Two years ago, Decibel streamed hardcore punk legends Dropdead‘s Arms Race EP. Featuring two tracks—covers of BGK’s “Arms Race” and Poison Idea’s “Give It Up”—the EP was begun in 1995 and finished in 2013. Originally intended to be a digital-only release, Dropdead partnered with Peterwalkee Records to put the EP out on seven-inch flexi with proceeds benefiting United We Dream, an organization creating spaces for young immigrants to make their voices heard.

Releasing tomorrow—Black Friday—in opposition to consumerism and corporate greed, Arms Race is a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it release, clocking in at 90 seconds between the two covers. You can stream the digital version that was released in 2018 via Armageddon Label below; Arms Race will be available here tomorrow.
