Video Premiere: Vaulted – ‘Death’s Door’

Boston’s Vaulted burst onto the scene last year with Asylum Memoirs, a three-track metallic hardcore ripper that quickly made the band’s intent known. The band were supposed to announce tour dates with the premiere of their new music video, “Death’s Door,” from that EP, but the world had other plans.

“‘Death’s Door’ is the final chapter of a three-song EP we put together titled Asylum Memoirs,” guitarist Christian Henderson explains. “We recorded this with Shane Frisby at The Brick HitHouse and released it in October of 2019. We wanted to put together a media piece that would visualize this story; the video for ‘Death’s Door’ was put together by Poseidon Media.

“The song is an endnote for leaving a life plagued with following another’s path,” Henderson continues. “The truth in the song meaning is to follow the path forged of your own, regardless of its outcome. Death’s Door is the final message. You can find this song along with the rest of our EP on all major streaming platforms. We would love to be announcing our plans for the summer, but just like rest, we must wait until the world is a safer place. You can expect some new material from us by the end of the year.”

Stay tuned for that new material and check out the video for “Death’s Door.” Asylum Memoirs is available now.
