If you’ve made it this far, you either don’t know who Ghostemane is, you’re expecting something totally different or you have a morbid curiosity. Ghostemane, who has primarily become known as a rapper, has never been shy about his associations with hardcore punk and extreme metal—just look at the merch he wears in his videos—but the Baader-Meinhof EP is his most-blackened moment yet.
With the EP, Ghostemane drops three lo-fi tracks that share more in common with Mayhem than HO99O9. There are a few acoustic guitars and touches of electronics and industrial elements, but it’s almost unrecognizable as the rapper from previous releases. Check it out below.
