Gruesome to Replace Cadaver at Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Los Angeles

Old-school death metal revivalist Gruesome have been added to the lineup of Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Los Angeles, taking place on December 13-14 at the Observatory in Santa Ana, CA.

They will replace Cadaver on the bill, who have been forced to cancel their Metal & Beer Fest appearance. A statement from the band: “Frontman Anders Odden has been hit by illness, which requires active treatment. For the time being, he will therefore not be able to perform.”

Decibel wishes Anders a speedy recovery and a return to the stage next year.

Gruesome’s appearance at Metal & Beer Fest will mark the band’s first L.A. area performance in nearly three years. “We’re very stoked to return to the West Coast with some good ol’ fashioned DEATH Metal for your ears,” exclaims guitarist/vocalist Matt Harvey. “It’s been way too long, and celebrating beer with Decibel and such a stacked lineup is the perfect reason to make it happen and crank shit up!”
