Chilean black metal purveyors Sol Sistere pull back the veil and allow early listening to their second album, Extinguished Cold Light. More than fifty minutes of icy black metal, Extinguished Cold Light‘s atmosphere recalls Scandinavia more than it does Sol Sistere’s home country.
“Extinguished Cold Light represents a different world, a universe of burning hatred and bitterness, where the only way forward is to stumble on through the dark,” Sol Sistere offer as a description of the album. “Perhaps though, the blazing majesty can help you find the way home…”
Sol Sistere release Extinguished Cold Light on May 24 on Hammerheart.
