Full EP Stream: Neolithic – “Neolithic”

Decibel regular J. Andrew already broke the news that the new Neolithic EP is dark, heavy and crusty, but it bears repeating: the new, self-titled EP from Baltimore’s Neolithic totally rips. Neolithic checks in at a lean five songs, moving fluidly from groovy fight riffs to blast beats, swaddled in crust and always backed by Evan Harting’s cavernous screams. Everything builds to a fever pitch at the end of “Pervasion of Oblivion,” which closes out the EP in strong fashion.

“Inspired by hatred, fueled by anger and motivated by disgust, these songs represent the movement of entropy and all-encompassing imminent chaos,” Neolithic offer of the songs.
