Exhorder to Record First Album Since 1992

Groove metal progenitors Exhorder, who are often credited with creating the groove metal sound popularized by Pantera, confirmed this morning that they will soon enter the studio to record their third album, their first since 1992’s The Law.

The band didn’t offer further details at this time, but announced their signing with Nuclear Blast at the end of November.

Exhorder will make their first Philadelphia appearance in 27 years at Decibel Metal & Beer Fest: Philly on April 13. Get tickets here. Last year, Decibel inducted Slaughter in the Vatican, Exhorder’s debut album, into the Hall of Fame.
