Nine years deep into their existence as a band and Norwegian black metallers Dødsfall rip meaner and harder than ever on their new album Døden Skal Ikke Vente. After mastermind Ishtar (guitars, bass, vocals) recruited drummer Telal two years ago, Dødsfall’s fifth full length was promptly recorded.
Recorded in Stockholm at the well-known Necromorbus Studio with producer Tore Stjerna (Mayhem, Funeral Mist, Behexen, Watain, etc.), Døden Skal Ikke Vente represents ten more tracks of cold-blooded northern black metal in Dødsfall’s pitch-black canon. Mexican artist Pazuzuh, who also handled the cover art for Dødsfall’s third album, Djevelens Evangelie, is the disturbed individual behind the artwork for Døden Skal Ikke Vente.
Døden Skal Ikke Vente comes out on Osmose Productions this Friday.
