Full Album Stream: Malthusian – “Across Deaths”

Since 2013 the Dublin-based quartet have methodically unleashed unruly hell in the form of murky black death chaos. While their demo and 2015’s Below the Hengiform EP stand as monuments of overwhelming darkness and death in their own rights, there’s a notion that it’s all been building up to this . . .

Across Deaths is the debut full length from Malthusian. Featuring the same lineup that played on the demo, it’s no wonder Malthusian have evolved into something so powerful.

To introduce their album, the band quotes the late Irish writer Brendan Behan: “It’s not that the Irish are cynical. It’s rather that they have a wonderful lack of respect for everything and everybody.”

Across Deaths is out now.
