Swedish rockers Hypnos sound energetic and excited on “Caught in the Night,” a new cut from their album Set Fire to the Sky. It’s with good reason—the hard rock/heavy metal crew linked up with producer Ola Ersfjord (Tribulation, Primordial) to record the album, which brims with old-school swagger and energy (and check out those outfits!). While Set Fire to the Sky has a vintage style, the production heard on tracks like “Caught in the Night” is sleek and modern, yet still warm and inviting.
See and hear it for yourself with the video for “Caught in the Night” below. Of the video, the band commented, “Our latest single ‘Caught in the Night’ from the upcoming album Set Fire to the Sky has arrived in video form! Recorded in Gothenburg by the great Max Ljungberg, this video captures the intense live feeling you’ve come to expect from a performance of Hypnos together with some kicked back shots with us roaming our favorite city! Doesn’t get more heavy rock than this! P.S Some beers may have been spilled during the making of this video…”
You can jam the whole album on September 28. Pre-orders via The Sign are live now.
