Swedish death metal legends At the Gates have teased us for months with updates about their new album, To Drink from the Night Itself, but we haven’t heard any music. Until now, that is. The band dropped the title track to the highly-anticipated album a few moments ago, and, unsurprisingly, it’s excellent rager in their signature melodic death metal style.
To Drink from the Night Itself is due out on May 18 via Century Media, but you don’t need to wait that long to hear even more new At the Gates. Become a deluxe Decibel subscriber before Monday, March 5 and receive an exclusive, extremely-limited flexi containing a 2018 rerecording of “Raped by the Light of Christ,” which originally appeared on 1993’s With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness.
