Full Album Stream: The Good the Bad and the Zugly – “Misanthropical House”

In this world, there are three types of people: the good, the bad and… the zugly. While we here at Decibel can’t confirm the truth of that statement, we can confirm that Misanthropical House, the third album from Norway’s The Good the Bad and the Zugly is a ton of fun. Twelve slices of catchy hardcore punk, it’s incredibly obvious that the quintet are having a great time as they rip through Misanthropical House.

The Good the Bad and the Zugly probably won’t have you picking up change in the pit at the next hardcore show, but you might want to climb on heads while you sing along to its infections melodies.

Misanthropical House is a very emotional album,” the band tell Decibel. “It reflects the Norwegian way of life and the hodge-podge of values we share, most often taking the form of complaining and whining. GBZ want whining back in punk! You see, there’s no end to the bodily decay we’re facing as the band members are approaching middle age: Hemorrhoids, fungus, obesity, hair loss, moderate depressions and hangovers of course. What else can you expect?”

Enjoy a full stream of Misanthropical House right now. Fysik Format will release the album on February 16.
