Full Album Stream: Oblivious – “När Isarna Sjunge”

Though metal has evolved a huge amount since its proto- roots, there’s still plenty of good music to be made by going back to the start. Such is the case with Sweden’s Oblivious, who are releasing their new album När Isarna Sjunger tomorrow.

Translated to English, När Isarna Sjunger means “when the ice is singing,” an idea matched by the album artwork. According to lead singer Isak Nordholm, the album focuses lyrically on topics like climate change and war and musically on large choruses and strong vocal arrangements, something it succeeds on.
