Swedish death metal crushers Throne of Heresy are gearing up for the release of their third LP, Decameron, their second effort for The Sign. New single “Liber Secretorum” sees the band settle into a deep death metal groove, delivering growls and spoken word bits with an almost ritualistic cadence and fervor, aided by impressive visuals directed by Guilherme Henriques (Wormed, Belphegor, Hideous Divinity).
Bonus trivia: Liber Secretorum Eventuum is the name of a book by John de Rupescissa, who predicted the coming of the Antichrist. It doesn’t get much more metal than that!
