Stream Nomad Stones’ Pre-/Post-Grunge Debut LP in Full

Because Steve Brodsky doesn’t have a monopoly on weird-ass Cave In side projects, the world can now enjoy Nomad Stones. We know you always wanted to hear guitarist Adam McGrath and drummer JR Conners (along with their friend Erik Szyska) explore their love of ’80s and ’90s slacker rock like Hüsker Dü, Dinosaur Jr. and the Replacements. Our own Jeff Treppel, who reviewed the band’s self-titled LP in the September issue of Decibel, however, claims to hear more more Weezer and the Offspring. We’ll assume he means those bands’ “golden age”… whenever the fuck that actually was.

Nomad Stones self-titled debut drops August 5 on Brutal Panda, but you can pre-order it right here.
