Day and Night Collide in inAeona’s “Sun/Moon”

Boston-based post-metal three-piece inAeona are getting set to release full-length debut Force Rise the Sun on Prosthetic in early August, and we’re excited to premiere the album’s second single, “Sun/Moon.” The band is featured in the forthcoming September issue, and frontwoman Bridge Lavaizar implies that this raging emotional hurricane is indicative of what the record’s all about: “Force Rise the Sun revolves mainly around the theme of opposites, highlighting and playing them down, turning phrases around to see a different perspective. There are a couple of songs that are kinda on the outside of this theme; they are deeply personal experiences that I needed to give voice to, one of hope, patience and reassurance, and another of judgment, loss and the questions that come with that while hoping to retain some semblance of self fucking worth. Other themes are knowing yourself, acceptance, not being understood, despair, fear, deep, deep bonds, and the sickening onslaught of time.”
