Lo! are a powerful force on their third album, Vestigial. A momentous collection of sludge and post-metal, Vestigial is immense, but it maintains an aggression rarely found in most post-metal. Powerful grooves like the ones heard on “A Tiger Moths Shadow” find their way into many songs, and the pacing on Vestigial is such that the album never feels too intense or too slow.
