For nearly 15 years, Belgium’s Reject the Sickness have toed the line between razor-sharp aggression and melodic introspection, but with their new single “Signs of the End,” they tear through it entirely. Premiering today via Decibel, the track is a crushing statement of purpose—and the title track of their upcoming album, out May 30.

Set to a backdrop of rhythmic precision, seething riffs, and atmospheric dread, “Signs of the End” channels the band’s most intense impulses into something both anthemic and urgent. Thematically, it strikes at the heart of ideological captivity, calling for a break from dogma and an end to terrorism in all its forms.

“This track is a declaration of who we are as a band and a prelude to our upcoming album, Signs of the End,” the band explains. “It’s intense, atmospheric, and downright brutal, capturing the essence of 15 years of our musical evolution and growth. This song embodies everything we’ve poured into Reject the Sickness over the years. It’s a story, a battle, and a journey—all wrapped up in sound.”

Directed by A. Van der Wallen, the accompanying video underscores that tension with surreal, symbolic imagery: two faceless figures, wrapped in linen etched with the alphabet of outsider artist Stanisław Szukalski, struggle to break free. It’s a haunting metaphor for self-liberation—a fitting visual for a track that burns with purpose.

Recorded in Ghent at Clean and Dirty Studio by Guy Vercruysse and Zoran Van Bellegem, mixed by Christian Svedin in Sweden, and mastered by Plec at The Panic Room, the production hits hard without losing nuance. The full album will be released on CD Digipack, Gatefold White Vinyl, and Cassette via Sonic Rendezvous.

“Signs of the End” arrives on all platforms April 25. Watch the video below—and brace for impact.
