Thanks to the efforts of this year’s critically-acclaimed It’s Time… to Rise From the Grave and their newly released live album Live… From the Grave (streaming now), fast-rising stars of the death metal underground Undeath lay claim to their first cover feature ever, a development they do not take lightly. “We’ve been fans of Decibel for years,” shares vocalist Alexander Jones, “and, as sappy as it sounds, we used to daydream about stuff like this happening at our very first practices. It honestly still doesn’t feel real, but this shit is as real as it gets!” For this occasion, the Rochester quintet brought along a little help from their friends as each issue comes packed with an exclusive track from Ohio deviants Sanguisugabogg, courtesy of the Decibel Flexi Series.
