For fans of crisp, well-produced melodic death metal, Decibel has something we think you’ll dig. Through the Oculus is an Los Angeles-based quartet poised to unleash their debut self-titled album on Friday June 4 via Metal Assault. “Order of the Eye” is the lead single from the album, and we are happy to present the accompanying music video below.
According to the band, they made the video “to capture what we look like at a live performance and giving it 100% pure rage.” Indeed, I especially like the thumping bridge section, and the screen going red behind them is a nice touch.
As far as the song goes, “Order Of The Eye” is “an ode to those who have been persecuted and tormented by people who claim their hatred and evil acts were all in the name of good or religious enlightenment. That those affected, their pain and suffering, will not be forgotten.”
