Well, that headline is anything but clickbait. Because what we have here is a brand new jam from Bent Sea, the ever-evolving grindcore project of noted extreme metal fanatic and Megadeth drummer Dirk Verbeuren. And this this new number, “Grind to a Hault,” features none other that Midnight front deviant Athenar on guest lead vocals.
“‘Grind To a Halt’ is the first in a series of songs I dubbed Instagrind,” Verbeuren tells Decibel. “Instagrind grew from a simple idea: How about releasing some quarantine grind on Instagram? So, I rang the bell of the beast, and Athenar answered. 63 seconds later, we had ‘Grind To a Halt.’ Now I’m gonna dust off my little black book and see who else is up to grind!
