Night Demon + Goldhorn Brewing Beer Collaboration Announced for Decibel’s Metal & Beer Fest: Philly

Look, we get it—we’ve choked down enough IPAs with off-the-charts IBU numbers to remind us of those godawful “Bitter Beer Face” commercials Keystone Light pedaled in the mid-’90s. So, we when say we’re excited about an IPA, it is with good reason. And that reason is an awesome Black IPA collaboration between Californian heavy metal heroes Night Demon and Cleveland’s Goldhorn Brewing called the Darkness Remains!

“When I heard there was a beer inspired by Night Demon, I didn’t believe it until I flew to Cleveland myself and paid a visit to Goldhorn Brewing,” says Night Demon bassist/vocalist Jarvis Leatherby. “Those guys are great human beings and they love their metal! At that point we decided to take it one step farther and can the beer. The Darkness Remains Black IPA is a hit in north east Ohio, and we are proud to spread that enjoyment as we bring it to the Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest in Philadelphia this coming spring.”

“An IPA as dark as Night, with Demonic amounts of hop flavor and aroma,” says Goldhorn head brewery Joel Warger. “Brewed with the band themselves, come walk the graveyard of your palate, before it’s too late.

Close your windows,
Lock your doors,
There’s a Black IPA on tap tonight.
Darkness Remains.”

If you wanna sample the Darkness Remains, get moving, because the “Metal & Beer” ticket option that entitles attendees to pours from all 19 breweries at the festival, is down to TWO weekend passes! Don’t abstain—get your tickets below!
