Fresh off their first appearance at the 2019 Philly edition of Metal & Beer Fest, Brimming Horn Meadery makes their Los Angeles debut at Metal & Beer Fest: L.A. Their one-of-a-kind collaboration with Decibel trad metal favorites Spirit Adrift, We Will Not Die, will be unveiled at Metal & Beer Fest: L.A.
This cyser (apple mead) made with mesquite honey, apple juice, Arizona dates and raisins delivers as much sweetness as Spirit Adrift’s soaring melodies but the 15%-18% alcohol will wallop you like one of the band’s crushing doom riffs.
“Our good friend Steve Joh from Prosthetic Records introduced us to Nate [Garrett, guitarist/vocalist] from Spirit Adrift,” says Brimming Horn’s Vice President Robert Walker JR. “We’ve been big fans of Spirit Adrift for a few years now, so it was great to work with them. He wanted an apple mead so Jon came up with the recipe and we brought in some Arizona honey and dates to give it a local feel for the guys.
“Decibel has been our favorite metal magazine for over a decade,” he continues, “and getting to be a part of such an amazing festival has been an absolute honor.”
