Hops of No Light, the Official Beer of Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest LA, Announced!

Hops of No Light, an exclusive brewing collaboration between featured brewery Metal Monkey Brewing and Prosthetic Records, will make its debut as the Official Beer of Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest Los Angeles on December 13-14 at the Observatory in Santa Ana!

A nod to Prosthetic artists Schammasch, who released their latest LP, Hearts of No Light, earlier this month, and will make their North American debut at Metal & Beer Fest Los Angeles on December 14, Hops of No Light’s 8.5% ABV will accelerate your search for the inner dialogue and surrealism that’s sure to come with Schammasch’s landmark performance.

“For this year’s fest, we decided to brew a big, brutal Double IPA with Citra, Smcoe and El Dorado hops,” says Dan Camp of Metal Monkey. “We’re excited to bring our beer to some of California’s most hardcore fans and see the killer lineup of music for the weekend. Working with Prosthetic Records has been awesome, aside from having a great presence in the Chicago area (where we’re from), they’re always at the forefront of the latest and greatest in metal. Not only that, but they’re very likeminded as far as beer styles and brewing. We can’t wait to continue this partnership.”

“Dan and Jason [Janes] and the Metal Monkey crew are kindred spirits and beer gods,” exclaims Prosthetic founder EJ Johantgen. “Can’t wait to unleash Hops of No Light at the fest!”
