Since 2016, Missouri’s Vaultwraith have combined evil heavy metal with the sleaze of speed metal, the swagger of doom, and the Satanic prowess of black and death metal into a formidable and intoxicating sound. Their debut full length, Death is Proof of Satan’s Power, also stood as proof of their own might. With a sound almost sinfully nostalgic, yet the horrormongering quartet never retread hollow ground, always presenting a new take on arcane ideas.
