Los Angeles death metal machine Infirmity will release Descendants of Sodom, their full-length debut album on November 9 (which is a Saturday, so fuck your Friday release dates, failing music industry!) via our pals at Lost Apparitions Records. No one — especially us — wants to wait that long to hear the band’s first new release since 2016’s Depths of Regression demo, so we’ve got a brand new track, “Darkness Reigns Supreme” for your earholes below.
“‘Darkness Reigns Supreme’ is a pure homage to Infirmity’s musical influences and all things darkm” the band tells Decibel. “Displaying passages of black metal and death metal with the raw energy of punk and heavy metal. Amidst lyrics of Luciferian convictions and devil worship to match organically with the dark and heavy tones of the music. This is definitely one of Infirmity’s songs that always gets the crowd to explode causing those in it’s wake to burst into a mosh, hypnotically banging their heads the whole way through.”
Descendants of Sodom is available for pre-order here, and you can follow Infirmity here on Bandcamp.
