Full Album Stream: Hemisferio – “Anacronía”

Hemisferio formed in 2015, and have been hard at work on their debut full length for about as long. Says the band: “Anacronía is an album that cost us a lot of hard work and a long time to finish. We have been working on it since the end of 2016. But thanks to the arrival of our new vocalist Carlos Contador, we recorded an album with very varied songs, with many nuances of melancholic  melodies, energetic riffs and the full POWER of heavy metal.”

Indeed, the nine tracks that comprise Hemisferio’s debut alternately sprint, strut, and prance through the full gamut of ’80s heavy metal. With inspiration clearly pulled from the NWOBHM scene, early US power metal titans, with plenty of nods to European doom and Teutonic speed metal; yet Anacronía offers up a singular sound by a fresh band who can’t help but stand apart from the crowd. Featuring stunning artwork by Adam Burke, Hemisferio’s debut is finally here, and immediately proves itself to be well worth the wait.
