“This time I went both more brutal and more diverse,” Rogga Johansson tells Decibel. “There are some massive songs on the new album and if you like death metal you will definitely find something to like here.”
And the extraordinarily prolific Swedish extreme music composer/guitarist/vocalist known for his previous work with Paganizer, The Grotesquery, Skeletal Spectre, Humanity Delete, and a slew of other ultra-heavy acts sure ain’t telling no tall tales — Entrance to the Otherwhere, issued under an eponymous banner, is one twisty, nasty, sick riff pile-up of underground metal magnum opus.
“A darker more ominous feeling is present in the new songs,” Johansson continues. “I tried — and I think succeeded — in meshing the raw brutal sound with the epic feel.”
