Devil Master, Philadelphia’s resident black metal/punk heathens, have shared the video for “Black Flame Candle,” the latest offering from their forthcoming debut full-length, Satan Spits on Children of Light. The video pairs Devil Master’s high-speed music with occult and horror imagery. The psychedelic hellscape the band conjures in the video could easily have been culled from a long-forgotten VHS tape.
“Here is the third track to the album, set to us breaking in to an abandoned church while almost choking/freezing our good friend Eric to death, after pumping him full of hallucinogens,” the band told Consequence of Sound.
Satan Spits on Children of Light will see release on March 1 through Relapse. Devil Master will open the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest: Philly Pre-Fest on April 12 at the Foundry with Integrity, Full of Hell and Cloak. Tickets are on sale now.
