Rejoice, fans of top-shelf, occult-heavy melodic death thrash! Vaultwraith is set to return early next year with Light the Candle In Honour of Devils, the much-anticipated sophomore follow-up to the stellar pyre-setting 2017 debut Death is Proof of Satan’s Power.

“‘Four Beasts Before the Throne’ is a thrash/death aural assault,” vocalist/songwriter Alucarda Bellows tells Decibel. “Once the music was in my hands the lyrics flowed out of me like a spurting vein; they were influenced by the Paul Naschy film Inquisition as well as a book titled Witchcraft: The Story of Man’s Search for Supernatural Power by Eric Maple I saw when I was a wee lass. The images in the book haunted me for years and I finally obtained a copy for myself allowing a new, dark world to open up for me to take influence from. Many songs have spawned from it thus far and this is one of them.”
