Wisdom in Chains are a staple in Pennsylvania hardcore, proudly professing their love for the keystone state and their working-class roots in their music. Their new album, Nothing in Nature Respects Weakness, is another great entry into their catalogue, packed to the brim with singalong choruses, punk rock energy and lots of PMA.
Nothing in Nature Respects Weakness is undoubtedly a Wisdom in Chains record. Singer Mad Joe Black is always at the forefront of the chaos, his half-yelled, half-sung vocals spreading messages of strength, hope and resilience. Decibel has acquired an exclusive stream of the new album, plus a new video for “Already Dead”—one of the album’s standout tracks—which goes through Philadelphia and features some notable faces from the Philly hardcore scene, including This is Hardcore mastermind Joe Hardcore and internet sensation Kodi the Supergirl.
