Melek R. N. is the sole creator and band member of Chile black metal phenoms Pyreficativm. Formed in 2012 out of the ashes of Flammis Maledictis by Melek R. N., the single-man outfit represents the higher concepts — musically and thematically — in black metal. With two demos — 2014’s Promo MMXIV and 2015’s Phosphorvs – Demo MMXV — behind Pyreficativm, the following years were spent perfecting Melek R. N.’s vision.
Indeed, संसार का पथ, which translates from Hindi to English as “Path of the World” or “Worldly Path,” is almost three years in the making. For संसार का पथ, Pyreficativm cleaned up the soundscape, thrusting the instrumentation and the musical presentation to the fore. Informed by Deathspell Omega, Blut Aus Nord, and Aosoth, Pyreficativm’s new music is both labyrinthine, atmospheric, tense, and esoteric.
