Weyerbacher and Yards Announce Exclusive Brews for Metal & Beer Fest

Over the course of the past two years, Decibel has gotten support from breweries all over the country (in fact, the world!) for our Metal & Beer Fest. We are especially grateful for the support we’ve gotten from breweries right here in our backyard – Weyerbacher (Easton, PA), Yards (Phila, PA) and Stoudts (Adamstown, PA).

That’s why today, we’re super excited to announce two beers brewed especially for Decibel Metal & Beer Fest: Weyerbacher Divine Betrayal, a 6.1% Farmhouse Ale, and Yards Haunted Forever, a 6.66% Black IPA brewed in collaboration with Sumerlands, one of our favorite local bands that’s also making an appearance at this year’s Fest.

Both of these limited-release beers will be poured for the first time on March 15 at Barcade Philly’s Metal Night, where we’ll be raffling off three sets of Metal & Beer tickets as well as prizes from the breweries and merch from Barcade and Decibel. The event is completely free – all you have to do to enter to win tickets and prizes is purchase one of the official festival beers. If you can’t make it to the event, the beers will also be poured at the Metal & Beer Fest kickoff at Saint Vitus Bar and at the festival.

Keep an eye out for another exciting announcement coming soon!

Metal & Beer Fest FAQs

What are my ticket options?
You can purchase a one- or two-day “Metal & Beer Ticket,” which allows you to watch all bands performing. It also gives you access to samples from all 20 breweries who will be at Decibel Metal and Beer Fest, as well as access to all breweries and bars plus a Decibel Metal and Beer Fest tasting cup.

You may also purchase a one- or two- day “Just Metal” ticket (limited to 500 each day) that grants you access to all four bars on the first floor, as well as the ability to see each band playing. You will also have the opportunity to purchase samples of featured breweries from the bar.

How much does it cost?
“Metal & Beer” tickets are $80 for one day and $150 for both.

“Just Metal” tickets are $42 for one day and $82 for both.

If you bought four craft beers at the fest, you would be spending more than $40. The “Metal and Beer Ticket” pays for itself and then some!

Are the breweries in an area separate from the bands?
No, Decibel Metal & Beer Fest is a fully integrated fan experience. You can walk over to the 3 Floyds table, sample a “Blood of the Sunsets” beer, co-brewed by At the Gates, WHILE you watch At the Gates!

Where can I purchase tickets?
Purchase Saturday tickets here.
Purchase Sunday tickets here.
Purchase full weekend tickets here.

Is the event 21+, even if I purchase a “Just Metal” ticket?
