Ravenous tape fiends, take note: Later this month, Caligari Records will release the rabid utterances of Peruvian black-thrashers Obscure Evil. The tape undeniably rips, and you can hear it all here, weeks before you decide to give in to the serrated pleasures of the trio’s full-bore, free-of-nuance attack. Not only can you get this thing on tape, but Unspeakable Axe is making sure you can get it on CD on December 1st, and Cavernous Records will release an LP compilation of both of the band’s EPs to date.
