Pittsburgh death/doom legends Derkéta have been officially added to this year’s Choosing Death Fest lineup.
“We’re honored and excited to be a part of this fest, and to check out this Choosing Death book that we keep hearing about!” says vocalists/guitarist Sharon Bascovsky.
Derkéta will replace Magrudergrind, who were forced to cancel their appearance due to circumstances beyond the band’s control.
“Our drummer has a personal matter that came up,” says vocalist Avi Kulawy. “We are extremely bummed to miss out on the fest and appreciate Decibel asking us to play in the first place. We’ll make it up very soon. Be sure to still attend and support the fest!”
